VR FOR SEND STUDENTS

Virtual reality that works for every learner.

We regularly deliver in special schools, alternative provision and SEND classes. Every session is planned around your pupils, not a fixed script.

How we adapt our sessions:

Smaller groups and shorter sessions, so pupils can go at their own pace.
A gentle start. Pupils can see and hold the headset before they put it on, and can take it off at any time.
Join in without a headset. Pupils who'd rather not wear one can follow along on a shared screen.
Seated, calm experiences, chosen to avoid sudden movement or loud surprises.
Planned with you. Tell us about sensory needs, epilepsy or anxiety beforehand, and we'll build the session around them.
Transition visits. Pupils can tour a new school virtually before they move.

I thought that the workshops were excellent. The children were clearly excited and engaged with the learning and enjoyed having this opportunity, as many won't have experienced VR before. It was great to see that the workshops also covered a few different areas of the curriculum, and allowed the children to share their prior learning as well as recall things they had learned earlier in the year. Lastly, I also liked how the workshops were accessible to all children. We would definitely book the workshops again and equally, recommend them to other schools/ academies.
