What Is the Coasts VR Workshop?

The Coasts VR Workshop is a fully guided, curriculum-linked experience designed for KS2 and KS3 pupils. Using VR headsets, pupils can:

  • By the end of the Coasts VR Workshop, pupils will be able to:

    ✔ Explain what a coastline is

    ✔ Identify key coastal landforms

    ✔ Describe how waves shape the coastline

    ✔ Understand why coastal habitats are important

    ✔ Use geographical vocabulary with confidence

  • This workshop will last approximately 30 - 50-minutes depending on the number of sessions required.

    • KS2 pupils (Years 3–6)

    • KS3 pupils (Years 7-9)

    • Whole classes or small groups

    • Suitable for all abilities

    • No VR experience required

    All equipment is provided, and workshops are delivered by qualified facilitators.
