The Galápagos Islands VR Workshop is a fully guided, curriculum-linked experience designed for KS2 pupils. Using VR headsets, pupils can:

🦎 Unique Animals and Plants

Explore famous Galápagos wildlife such as giant tortoises, marine iguanas, blue-footed boobies and finches. Find out why these animals are so special and how they adapted to their environment.

  • By the end of this topic, learners should be able to:

    ✔ Locate the Galápagos Islands on a world map
    ✔ Describe how volcanic islands are formed
    ✔ Name animals unique to the Galápagos
    ✔ Explain how animals adapt to their environment
    ✔ Understand why conservation is important

  • This workshop will last approximately 30 - 50-minutes depending on the number of sessions required.

    • KS1 pupils (Years 1-2)

    • KS2 pupils (Years 3–6)

    • Whole classes or small groups

    • Suitable for all abilities

    • No VR experience required

    All equipment is provided, and workshops are delivered by qualified facilitators.
