What Is the Rivers VR Workshop?

The Rivers VR Workshop is a fully guided, curriculum-linked experience designed for KS2 pupils. Using VR headsets, pupils can:

  • By the end of the Rivers VR Workshop, pupils will be able to:

    ✔ Describe how rivers are formed
    ✔ Identify the different stages of a river
    ✔ Recognise key river landforms and features
    ✔ Explain why rivers are important to people and wildlife
    ✔ Understand the causes and impacts of flooding

  • This workshop will last approximately 30 - 50-minutes depending on the number of sessions required.

    • KS2 pupils (Years 3–6)

    • KS3 pupils (Years 7-9)

    • Whole classes or small groups

    • Suitable for all abilities

    • No VR experience required

    All equipment is provided, and workshops are delivered by qualified facilitators.
