What Is the Roman VR Workshop?

The Romans VR Workshop is a fully guided, curriculum-linked experience designed for KS2 pupils. Using VR headsets, pupils can:

  • By the end of the Roman Empire VR Workshop, pupils will be able to:

    ✔ Explain why the Romans invaded Britain
    ✔ Describe life for Roman soldiers and civilians
    ✔ Identify Roman buildings and technology
    ✔ Explain how the Romans changed Britain
    ✔ Use key historical vocabulary

  • This workshop will last approximately 30 - 50-minutes depending on the number of sessions required.

    • KS2 pupils (Years 3–6)

    • Whole classes or small groups

    • Suitable for all abilities

    • No VR experience required

    All equipment is provided, and workshops are delivered by qualified facilitators.
