What Is the Space VR Workshop?

The Space VR Workshop is an interactive, curriculum-linked experience designed for students. Wearing VR headsets, children are transported into space where they can:

  • By the end of the Space VR Workshop, pupils will be able to:

    βœ” Name and describe key features of the Solar System
    βœ” Explain how day and night occur
    βœ” Describe the movement of the planets in relation to the sun
    βœ” Identify what astronauts do in space
    βœ” Use scientific vocabulary linked to space

  • This workshop will last approximately 30 - 50-minutes depending on the number of sessions required.

    • KS2 pupils (Years 3–6)

    • KS3 pupils (Years 7-9)

    • Whole classes or small groups

    • Suitable for all abilities

    • No VR experience required

    All equipment is provided, and workshops are delivered by qualified facilitators.
