What Is the World War 2 VR Workshop?

The World War 2 VR Workshop is a fully guided, curriculum-linked experience designed for KS2 pupils. Using VR headsets, pupils can:

  • By the end of the workshop, pupils will be able to:

    ✔ Describe key events of World War 2
    ✔ Explain what life was like on the home front
    ✔ Understand evacuation and rationing
    ✔ Identify the impact of the Blitz and Battle of Britain
    ✔ Use historical vocabulary accurately

  • This workshop will last approximately 30 - 50-minutes depending on the number of sessions required.

    • KS2 pupils (Years 3–6)

    • KS3 pupils (Years 7-9)

    • Whole classes or small groups

    • Suitable for all abilities

    • No VR experience required

    All equipment is provided, and workshops are delivered by qualified facilitators.
